.:. Catalonia - Chariots of Fire - - From Lake LLong to the Colomina shelter

This is the longest stage in terms of kilometres covered, but not the most difficult. Leaving the shelter there is a path with a slight upward slope heading through the forest towards Dellui, the first part of which is perfectly surfaced and you find the Agulles, which give the trail its name, directly in front of you. Going around the Agulles you arrive at the Estany de Dellui. The trail continues to zigzag comfortably along as far as the saddle. The landscape on the southern side is completely different from what you have seen up until now, as the landscape here is almost lunar.

You pass large dammed-up ponds all along the trail, which is steep only at the beginning , the remainder of the route being generally flat with one or two slight descents...
