Catalonia - Wind Horses - Gresolet shelter to Sant Jordi shelter.
The Gresolet shelter-house is at the lowest altitude of all the shelters. The path increases in gradient quickly through a magnificent beech wood grove as far as the Coll de la Bauma (1,577 metres). Take advantage of the chance to increase the flora and fauna quota of observations along the way: beetles, salamander, marts, black woodpecker, lizards, and even the odd snake...
Take the flat SL (sender local) or local trail to the Coll de la Bena, where once again we find ourselves on the GR Camí dels Bons Homes, now heading north...
