Catalonia - Wind Horses - Sant Jordi shelter to the Rebost shelter.
The Sant Jordi shelter or the Font del Faig. From here the Moixeró and Penyes Altes are “climbed”. We head down towards the Ca l’Escriu (1,310 metres) on the GR 107 in a southerly direction and after about 30 minutes of exertion you arrive at the Coll d’Escriu (1,509 metres), all the while completely surrounded by beech trees and pines. At first the path down is quite wide passing through a spectacular beech wood as far as Gréixer. We go off the GR, crossing the Coll de Pal road, then cross a river; to Cal Tinent (910 metres) as the incline increases on the way back up...
