This is a lovely walk starting at Le Catelet (with its embroidery studio), exploring the source of the river Escaut and the old abbey of Mont-Saint-Martin. You can add an extra loop as far as the junction of the river with the Saint-Quentin canal, returning via the American war cemetery and the farmhouse inn at Bony.
