The river Oise, made famous in the book by Robert Stevenson, winds its way between chalky slopes where orchids grow. This route is ideal for seeing “rayères”, old dams used to take water to the mills and still regulated today by people moving stones by hand. You will also see a canal bridge and a swing bridge.
